Infinity Ward has revealed the first official logo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, following a teaser that was released late last week.
Modern Warfare 2 is a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot, rather than a remake of 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Aside from the logo, no new information about the game was revealed.
The official announcement of a Modern Warfare 2 sequel, as well as the release of Warzone 2, came back in February.
Despite the fact that Infinity Ward is leading the development of Modern Warfare 2, it is reported that 11 different studios are contributing to the game in some capacity.
According to other reports, special forces from the United States will be involved in the campaign against Colombian drug cartels.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will appear to be the final instalment in the series’ annual release cycle.
According to Bloomberg, the Call of Duty video game’s planned release date of 2023 has been postponed to 2024.
This is consistent with other rumblings that the Call of Duty developers are eager to move away from the annual release schedule for the game.
Although Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, Modern Warfare 2 is not expected to be a Microsoft exclusive, according to the game’s developer.
An earlier report stated that Activision Blizzard has already committed to releasing three additional Call of Duty games across a variety of platforms, including the PlayStation 4 system.
After that, however, it is possible that the series will only be available on Xbox.
