On the set of the action movie “Edge of Tomorrow,” actress Emily Blunt makes the claim Tom Cruise began yelling at her while she was sobbing. The 39-year-old actress was crying from exhaustion from putting a bulky robotic costume.
According to “The Mirror,” she even suffered rib injuries as a result of the outfit’s design. Now, Emily attempted to claim that as she started to get emotional, Tom was at a loss for what to do and decided to insult her as a harsh motivator.

There was nothing nice and comfortable about these suits, — in contrast to what you might think when you hear the phrase tactile. It was a tonne of weight—about 85 lbs (38 kg).
The Mirror” quotes Emily Blunt from the “Smartless” podcast as saying, “The first time I tried it on I broke into tears and (Tom) didn’t actually know what to do.” He just stared at me and responded by saying, “I know, I know,” but I just started crying and said, “Tom, I don’t know how I’m going to get through the shoot.”

Thankfully, the tough love approach helped her, and she was able to laugh it off and finish filming the scene. Additionally, due to the heavy nature of the outfit, Emily had to fill in with some scenes with a male stunt double.
She suffered an injury while filming, breaking both of her collarbones and ribs. Emily mentioned that they are “still dodgy” after eight years.
